Now it has fallen to Dungey to strike a balance between WBTV’s traditional heft in selling widely across the industry and the need to rev up HBO Max with top-tier originals. Dungey has also gradually reshaped the senior WBTV team with the appointment of longtime ABC executive Vicki Dummer as the studio’s current programming head and NBC veteran Rebecca Marks as communications chief.
