"El Chicano" with director Ben Hernandez Bray & Joe Carnahan
A pair of twin brothers from East L.A. choose to live their lives differently and end up on opposite sides of the law. El Chicano looks set to define a new genre of Latino action films. The film is authentic, has great cinematography and remains entertaining from start to finish. Overall, a refreshing entry in a hero/action genre that has gone stale in recent years. While investigating a vicious drug cartel, Los Angeles Detective Diego Hernandez uncovers a link between his brother's supposed suicide and a turf battle that's about to swallow up his neighborhood.
