Last night Thursday, April 14, Apple TV+ celebrated the global premiere of the new Apple Original docuseries “They Call Me Magic” at The Village Regency Theatre in Los Angeles. Talent on the red carpet included Magic Johnson and his family (including Cookie Johnson, Andre Johnson, EJ Johnson, & Elisa Johnson), series contributors Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Samuel L. Jackson (“The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey”), Dwyane Wade, Jerry West, Stephen A. Smith and many more! Additional attendees included Patricia Arquette (“Severance"), Gabrielle Union (“Truth Be Told”), Don Cheadle (“The Big Cigar”), Courtney B. Vance, Stevie Wonder, Tina Knowles-Lawson and more! The four-part documentary event of “They Call Me Magic” will premiere globally Friday, April 22, 2022, on Apple TV+.
