Black Widow — New Official Film Clip: 'In Pursuit' Check out a new official film from the upcoming Marvel movie "Black Widow," featuring Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh in an action-packed chase scene. In the clip, we see Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and her Russian spy sister, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) evading a squad of skilled female assassins, which forces them to flee across the rooftops of an old Russian village. In the movie, former assassin-spy-turned Avenger superhero Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) returns to her home country of Russia, embarking on a mission to stop a new mysterious villain named "Taskmaster." In doing so, Natasha reunites with her estranged Russian spy family that includes her younger "sister" (Pugh), and her surrogate "mother" and "father" -- Russian super-spy Melina Vostokoff (played by Oscar-winner Rachel Weisz) and Alexei Shostakov aka the Red Guardian (played by "Stranger Things" actor David Harbour). Acclaimed Australian-born filmmaker Cate Shortland (Somersault, Lore) directed the MCU prequel/spin-off/stand-alone movie, which is set to be released in theaters and on Disney Plus with Premier Access starting on July 9th.
